Dental Implants act like replacement tooth roots, providing a firm foundation for new teeth or dentures. They are made from titanium, because this durable metal is extremely well tolerated by the body and eventually fuses with the bone.

The dental implant journey starts with a tailor-made treatment plan, which we formulate by assessing your overall oral and medical health, and the quality/quantity of your jaw bone. If you are a suitable candidate, the implants are placed and left to heal for around 2-3 months, during which time you will normally have temporary teeth. When they are fully settled, we attach a crown, bridge or denture to the safely snug posts. In some cases, the entire process can be completed on the same day – see our ‘All-on-4’ information.

Dental implants offer a number of benefits, such as improved eating and speaking ability, and greater confidence, and you will no longer have to wear unstable dentures.
